Hector in his chrysalis right before turning into a beautiful butterfly, the chrysalis turns very dark right before they are ready to come out, you can actually see the color of the wings :)

Hector dentro de su capullo antes de convertirse en una hermosa mariposa, el capullo se hace muy oscuro justo antes de que la mariposa salga, se puede ver el color de las alitas :)

While we were busy with the butterfly, Connor was busy catching his own :) he found a half dead moth and was sooo proud... hahahaha :)

Mientras nosotros estabamos ocupados con la mariposa, Connor estaba ocupado atrapando su propia mariposa :) encontró una medio muerta y estaba muy orgullos... jajajaja :)

HACKLEY'S BABY SHOWER

Barb and Deaon have welcome a beautiful baby girl into their lives :) Nadia was born on August 18th and she is such a blessing to them and all of us.

Barb y Deaon han dado la bienvenida a una nena hermosa a sus vidas :)Nadia nacio el 18 de Agosto y es una verdadera bendicion para ellos y para todos nosotros.

HACKER HAS TURNED INTO "FRANCINE"

HACKER SE CONVIRTIÓ EN "FRANCINE"

Here he is... or she :)

Ian wanted to name the caterpillar "Hacker", but I told him to name him Francine instead (they are from the same tv show) and he refused to have a caterpillar named after a girl.. well, when he finally turned into a butterfly I told Ian that he was so beautiful that his new name should be Francine :) He agreed!

Aquí esta el... o ella :)

Ian quizo ponerle el nombre de "Hacker" a su gusanito, yo le dije que le pusiera el nombre de Francine (son personajes del mismo programa de televisión) y el se reusó a ponerle nombre de una niña a su gusano.. entonces, cuando se finalmente se convirtió en una mariposa le dije a an que era tan hermosa y que su nuevo nombre debería ser Francine :) Ian estaba deacuerdo!

We got home after a long day at school and work to discover that our first catterpillar "Hacker" had come out of his crysalis and was now the most beautiful butterfly. Ian and Connor were sooo excited!!! We are so blessed with God's breath taking creations :)

Ayer llegamos a casa después de un largo día en la escuelita y el trabajo para descubrir que nuestro primer gusanito "Hacker" salió de su capullo y se convirtió en una de las mariposas mas hermosas. Ian y Connor estaban tan emocionados!!! Estamos tan bendecidos con las creaciones tan hermosas de nuestro Señor :)

Daddy planned this surprise for us and the boys had an amazing time!!! It was Connor's first time at the beach and he absolutely loved it!!! The day was beautiful, the sun was shinning and it wasn't too hot... just perfect :)

Daddy planeó este viaje sorpresa para nosotros y los gorditos queradon fascinados!!! Fue la primera vez de Connor en la playa y quedó absolutamente enamorado!!! Fue un día hermoso, el sol brillaba y no hacia mucho calor... completamente perfecto :)

GLOBAL FEST

FESTIVAL GLOBAL

We always love going to the Global Fest each year, lots of things to see and do. The boys love the animals at the little petting zoo and also the crafts from all over the world... Aaron and I enjoyed the food of course :)

Siempre nos encanta ir al Festival Global todos los años, siempre hay muchas cosas que ver y hacer. A los gorditos les encantaron los animalitos en el pequeño zoológico y también las manualidades de todas partes del mundo... A Aaron y a mi nos encantó la comida por supuesto :)
