It's official!!! I'm a new citizen of the United States of America!!! The ceremony took place on Friday, August 3rd in Fort Wayne, Indiana, a little over 2 1/2 hours away from Lafayette. The court house was very nice and the ceremony itself was very exciting. There were 46 new citizens all from 26 different countries. I was the only one from Ecuador :) It has been a very long awaited process and I want to THANK all my family and friends for your support and love during this time. It doesn't really feel much different but it sure is great!!!

Grandma Frazer came with us to the ceremony and then she invited us to a wonderful lunch to celebrate, when we got home there was a very special surprise at the front door, a beautiful plant and balloon from Susan and John :) Made it even more special!! THANK YOU!!!

Es oficial!!! Soy una ciudadana de los Estados Unidos!!! La ceremonia tomó lugar el Viernes, 3 de Agosto en Fort Wayne, Indiana, a unas 2 1/2 horas de Lafayette. La corte en donde se realizó es muy bonita y la ceremonia en sí fue muy emocionante. Fuimos 46 nuevos ciudadanos de 26 países diferentes. Yo fuí la única del Ecuador :) Este ha sido un proceso muy esperado y extenso y quiero dar las GRACIAS a toda mi familia y amigos por su apoyo y cariño durante este tiempo. No se siente nada diferente, pero de seguro es algo grandioso!!!

La abuelita Frazer fue con nosotros a la ceremonia y después nos invitó a un almuerzo para celebrar, cuando llegamos a la casa había una sorpresa especial esperándome en la puerta de la casa, una planta muy bonita y un globo de parte de Susan y John :) Hizo esta ocasión mucho más especial!! GRACIAS!!!

Ian loved seeing all the animals at the fair, specially de horses :) He wasn't to thrilled about the cows... Also loved to ride the rides with daddy (video)... We had a lot of fun :)
