A doggie in our future??
Un perrito en nuestro futuro??

We have thought about getting a dog for a long time... a girl at my work needs to give her 2 doggies away because she is moving to a smaller place. The doggie we love is Soco, the chocolate lab pictured here. We haven't made a decision yet, but would like your comments and ideas... it will be our first dog and just need a lot of advise :)

you had talked about seeing how much food is a month and does she have toys, a bed, brush, shampoo for him? Is he trained not to jump on the couch or people (Ian)? Is your yard fenced in or do you need to buy a leash that goes into the ground. Does he do okay at home all day while everyone is at work? (ie. making a mess or going to the bathroom). Call the kennels for pricing. Some kennels are not very nice so you may want to stop by one if you get a chance. Did the lady get this dog out of a kennel if so then you my not want to put him there for vacation....he may not do well. He will have to be walked every night to get his energy out. Oh yes.....all the little dark hairs. A good things is that he is not a puppy which can be really hard.
On another note dogs are a lot of fun and since you guys grew up with them it should be easy to intertwine him into the family and I'm sure Ian would grow to love him!! I would love to have a dog but Chris didn't grow up with one and I don't think it would go over to well.
Good luck :)
Love ya,
Sarah

He's a cute dog. I know Aaron & I enjoyed growing up with large dogs. They were out best friends!

Hopefully when Tim & I buy a house we can fence in the yard so we can have a dog. They do seem to make a family complete.

I wonder what Dexter would do with a dog? :)
