Ian got his first little fish today, his name is Wallie (with an "i" to tell the difference between the movie and the fish :) ... ) He is so excited to have a little pet to care for and feed. I don't think Dexter has seen him yet... that should be interesting :)

Ian compró su primer pescadito el día de hoy, se llama Wallie (con una "i" para diferenciar entre al película y el pescadito :) ... ) Ian está tan emocionado de tener una mascotita para cuidarla y darle de comer. No creo que Dexter lo ha visto todavía... eso va a estar interesante :)

Fair Oaks Farm

We just got back from our yearly camping trip, last year we had so much fun that we decided to make it a family tradition and try it every year. It was wonderful!!! The beach is so beautiful and we got to spend all Saturday there... I was a little worried about being 7 months pregnant and having to sleep in a tent without air conditioning during the hottest weekend of the year so far... but to my surprise it was not bad at all. I was a little sore in the mornings, but other than that the heat didn't bother me at all. Good times!!

On the way back home we stopped at Fair Oaks Farm, which is a huge dairy farm that has become a very big attraction in the area. It's about 45 minutes away and you can take a tour and learn all about cows and the milking process. We also got to see a calf being born, Ian was so interested and asking a lot of questions. He loved it though and hasn't stopped talking about it.

Acabamos de regresar de nuestro campamento anual, el año pasado la pasamos tan lindo que hemos decido convertirlo en una tradición familiar todos los años. Estuvo hermoso!!! La playa es tan linda y nos la pasamos todo el día Sábado ahí... Yo estaba un poquito preocupada estando con 7 meses de embarazo y tener que dormir en una carpa sin aire acondicionado durante el fin de semana más caliente del año... pero para mi sorpresa, no estuvo tan mal. Me levantaba un poquito adolorida en las mañanas, pero aparte de eso el calor no me molestó para nada. Muy buenos recuerdos!!

De regreso a casa, paramos en una Granja llamada Fair Oaks, es una granja de vacas lecheras que se ha convertido en una gran atracción en el área. Queda a unos 45 minutos de aquí y puedes tomar un tour y aprender todo acerca de las vacas y el proceso de ordeñarlas. También vimos nacer a un ternerito, Ian estaba super interesado y preguntaba un montón de cosas. Le encantó todo y no ha dejado de hablar de las vacas.

Baby # 2 is now 28 weeks and 4 days, but who is counting, right??

I just wanted to share a recent picture of him. We noticed that he has a little "button" nose, which is just adorable!!! can't wait to see who he looks like :) He is a very active baby already and he continues to grow day by day... stay tuned for more updates.

We had so much fun at the fair this year. We went twice, the first time it was a little busy and Ian didn't get to ride any of the rides, so we went back a few days later so he can meet up with Hayden and get on the rides, they had a lot of fun together :)

Pasamos muy bonito en la feria este año. Fuímos dos veces, la primera vez había muchísima gente y por eso Ian no pudo subirse a los juegos, así que regresamos unos días después para que Ian pueda encontrarse con Hayden y hacerse los juegos, se divirtieron mucho juntos :)

Ian was invited to his friend's Hayden's church for their summer carnival. They had so much fun together... they played, ate, got wet and had a blast.

Ian fue invitado a la iglesia de su amiguito Hayden para un carnaval de verano. Ellos se divirtieron mucho juntos... jugaron, comieron, se mojaron y se la pasaron super.

We went out to Target and got us a big pool for the hot summer days... it's huge and Ian loves it!!! I have to say the water was a little cold when we first got in, but it was a lot of fun :)

Fuimos a Target y nos compramos esta super piscina para el calor de verano... está gigante y a Ian le encanta!!! Tengo que admitir que el agua estaba un poquito helada cuando nos metimos, pero estuvo super chevere :)

Aaron found this big moth outside our house. He caught him for a little bit so Ian can see it and learn about it... we learned that they eat nectar and they have very furry bodies :) We used the "Bug Habitat" Grandpa Rick got Ian :)

Aaron encontró esta mariposa nocturna afuera de la casa. La atrapó solo por un ratito para que Ian la pueda ver y pueda aprender acerca de ella... aprendimos que se alimentan de nectar y tienen unos cuerpos muy peludos :) Usamos la "Jaulita para insectos" que Grandpa Rick le regaló a Ian :)

Ian had a Beach Party at school and looks like they had a lot of fun things to do and games to play :) He came home with a tatoo and some cool shells :)

Ian tuvo una fiestita de Playa en su escuelita y parece que se divertieron con todas las cositas que habian y todos los juegos :) Llego a la casa con un tatuaje y con unas conchas de mar muy bonitas :)

Baby # 2 is now 26 weeks and continues to grow very well. I had another Doctor's appt today and he believes this baby will be bigger than Ian was when he is born. I truly hope he is a little wrong on that and that this baby is not too big to give birth to.

Aaron and I are still trying to decide on a name. I have one that I love, but I haven't gotten Aaron to like it as much as I do.... so if you have any suggestions, we will love to hear from you.

That's all for now on baby # 2. It's hard to believe we only have 3 months to go :)

Bebé # 2 tiene 26 semanas y continua creciendo muy bien. Hoy tuve otra cita con mi doctor y el cree que este bebé será más grande que Ian al nacer. En verdad espero que el doctor esté un poquito mal y que este bebé no sea muy grande cuando nazca.

Aaron y yo seguimos tratando de decidir un nombre para el bebé. Yo tengo uno que me encanta, pero todavía no he logrado convencer a Aaron.... así que si ustedes tienen alguna sugerencia en un nombre para el bebé, nos gustaría escucharla.

Creo que eso es todo por hoy . Es difícil pensar que solo faltan 3 meses :)

Heather and Tim came to visit last week. We had a fun time with them. We went to see Wall-E at the theater and it was wonderful, if you can go see it do, it's an awesome movie. Ian had much fun playing with his aunt Heather :) Miss you guys!!!

Sebas took us to the Teleférico and here we got to play all kinds of games... here is everyone racing. Sebas won a "giraffe" that looked like a cow and he gave it to Ian.

Sebas nos llevó al Teleférico y ahí pudimos jugar muchos jueguitos... en este video todos están compitiendo. Sebas ganó una "girafa" que parecia vaca y se la dió a Ian.

This video is at Yaku, the new water museum in Quito. It's pretty awesome and we learned a lot about the water system in Ecuador. This display was right at the entrance of the museum and I thought Aaron would love to see it, that's why I took it :)

Este video es en Yaku, el nuevo museo de agua en Quito. El museo es super chevere y aprendimos mucho acerca del sistema de agua en el Ecuador. Este monumento estaba en la entrada del museo y pensé que le encantaría a Aaron, es por esto que tomé este video :)

Ian had another birthday party in Ecuador, it was wonderful and he had a lot of fun :) Gracias Abuelita. Here is a video of the kids singing to him, the battery died before the song was over.

This is the second time we went to the Teleférico and this time we went up to the top of the Pichincha :)
