Ian does so good with baby Connor and keeps him well entertained!!! Connor loves his big brother and even looks for him when he is not around. Ian has found a way to make him laugh out loud and we sure enjoy all the giggles :)

Ian es tan bueno con bebé Connor y lo mantiene muy entretenido!!! Connor adora a su hermanito mayor y hasta lo busca cuando no está cerca. Ian ha encontrado la manera de hacerlo reir a carcajadas y nosotros en verdad disfrutamos de todas las risitas :)

Lexx had a bowling birthday party for his 6th birthday. It was a lot of fun specially for Ian, who loves to bowl :) There was another little baby who was Connor's age, but a little smaller than him... I'm beginning to think I'm overfeeding my baby!!!

Lexx tuvo una fiestita de bolos por su 6to. cumpleaños. Estuvo muy divertida, especialmente para Ian, porque le encantan los bolos :) También había otro bebito de la misma edad de Connor, pero un poquito más chiquito que él... Empiezo a pensar que le estoy dando de comer de más a mi bebé!!!

Time is flying and Connor is already 4 months old. He is now 17lbs 15oz.. can't believe how big he is getting :) He laughs all the time and is very close to rolling. He has outgrown his basinet so he has moved up to his crib, he looks so tiny in it.

El tiempo pasa volando y Connor ya tiene 4 mesesitos. Está pesando 17lbs y 15oz.. no puedo creer lo grande que se está poniendo :) Se rie todo el tiempo y ya mismo empieza a darse la vuelta. Ya no entra en su moisés así que ahora ya está en su cunita, se lo ve tan chiquitito en ella.

Ian was learning about past presidents at school and when he came home he told us all about them. Looks to me like someone was Abraham Lincoln in class :)

Ian estaba aprendiendo acerca de los presidentes en su escuelita y cuando llegó a casa nos contó todo acerca de ellos. A mí me parece que alguien fue Abraham Lincoln en su clase :)

We went out to Texas Roadhouse for Papa's birthday, had a lot of fun with the whole familia and all the peanuts we could eat :)

Here are some pictures of Connor trying rice cereal for the first time, he is not so sure about it yet... I think it's a "texture" thing. He made a couple of faces, but seemed to like it :)

Connor will be 4 months old next week, can't believe he is that big already. He has been a little under the weather and has his first ear infection. We took him to the Dr. last thursday 2/12/09 and he was 17lbs 2oz, such a big boy!!

Connor va a cumplir 4 mesesitos la próxima semana, no podemos creer lo rápido que ha crecido. Ha estado un poquito enfermito y tiene su primera infección de oído. Lo llevamos al Dr. el jueves pasado 2/12/09 y pesó 17lbs 2oz, es un bebé muy grande!!

I've been wanting to start posting some of the things that Ian says, he is such a creative little guy, so smart and funny :) I want to be able to look back and remember everything he tells us and also share them with you all :)

Quiero publicar algunas de las cosas que Ian dice, el es un niño tan creativo, tan inteligente y chistoso :) que quiero poder recordar todo lo que nos cuenta y también compartirlo con todos :)

NOTE: If you didn't already know.. Aaron is the cook at our house, he does a lot of the cooking and he is wonderful at it :)

Ian was learning about helpers in the community at Preeschool last week and his teacher was talking about all the different jobs that people have, such us policemen, doctors, teachers, etc.
So, one day on the way home from school Ian and I were talking in the car and I asked him if he knew what mommy did at work and he said he didn't know so I explained to him what I do and that I work with doctors and help them to communicate with people that speak Spanish :) After I had said that I asked him what daddy does and his reply was: DADDY COOKS FOOD !!! to what I said.. he sure does and he also works for a building company. He was so sweet.


NOTA: Para los que no saben.. Aaron es el chef the la casa, el es muy bueno en la cocina y por lo general prepara toda la comida :)

Ian estaba aprendiendo acerca de los ayudantes de la comunidad en su escuelita la semana pasada, aprendió acerca de los trabajos que tienen las personas, como policias, doctores, profesores, etc.
Así que, un día en el carro en el camino a la casa nos pusimos a conversar y le pregunte que si el sabia que trabajo tiene mami y me dijo que no sabia y se lo expliqué, le dije que mami trabaja con doctores y que yo les ayudo a comunicarse con los pacientes que solo hablan Español :) Después le pregunte se es lo que hace su papi y a lo que me respondió: PAPI COCINA LA COMIDA !!! a lo que le dije... es la verdad, pero también trabaja en una compañía de construccion. Tan dulce mi gordito

Connor is such a happy baby, he has been a little sick lately. We took him to the Dr. on Sat. and he is doing ok, just a cold that is lasting a while... He was 17lbs 8oz though !!!

Connor es un bebé tan feliz, ha estado un poquito enfermo útimamente. Lo llevamos al Dr. el Sábado y está bien, solo tiene una gripita que le está durando mucho tiempo... Eso si pesó 17lbs 8 oz !!!
